Victor Bretthauer and his wife, Niki, are both ordained ministers, and through their ministry RESTORE Ministries, help small congregations throughout the western United States. Their burden is for scattered and struggling churches and christians, building again the bridges of fellowship to strengthen the body of Christ.
Active christians since 1974, they have pastored, organized, and run support groups for abuse survivors (adult, childhood, marriage, and domestic violence) along with individual and couples counseling. Both serve as chaplains for the Disabled American Veterans.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, Victor received his first degree from Highline Community College in Midway, Washington (majoring in Sociology - Gerontology). Victor had further field training along with individual study through both seminary and missions outreach training programs. Victor is a business owner, licensed pilot, and extended traveler, all of which reflect in his writing.
Bringing together a keen insight into human relationships and a desire to see clean dynamic adventure stories led to a long and varied series of stories now being written and marketed to the general public. Victor has been actively writing in tandem with his writing partner, Jim Laughter, for nearly many years. Experience as a business owner, pilot, military veteran and extensive traveler are reflected in their writing as they endeavor to "write something worth reading" for young and old alike.
