About Us
Galactic Axia is a writing partnership between two friends, Victor J. Bretthauer of Port Angeles, Washington and Jim Laughter of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Together we are creating a 20-book series of fiction adventure books around a commonwealth of planets called Galactic Axia. And although each book is part of a series, each one has its own storyline, plot, and distinct characters.

After reading Jim Laughter and Victor Bretthauer's first two books Escape to Destiny and The Horicon Experience, I couldn't resist Ghost in the Dark. I love a good ghost story but this one took me completely by surprise. I expected to be scared but instead I was inspired. I met families unlike any I'd ever met before, and they touched my heart. I experienced the grief felt by a mother that loses a child and the joy when that child is found. I reveled in acts of courage, honesty, and integrity. I shared the triumph of victory and I cried in defeat. I loved meeting Empress Ane, Mary, Myra Alor, Bobby, and Grandpa Gary. Ghost in the Dark is a masterpiece that will grip your heart and never let go. It will inspire young readers and old alike to always follow their dreams.
